About the GrumpyQueen

A.K.A Gatekeeper

I love food, don't deprive me of it.

I'm not Princess, I'm Queen

I can be quite grumpy and when I am, I hide here, my dungeon for reflections, ramblings and ranting.

Whatever I write are opinions, and may not be the whole truth. Do not read it like the Gospel.

I hate as vehemently as I love
I already know I'm crazy, be my friend, it's safer

Different is not bad, just not the same as the rest

If you don't like me, it's probably mutual
But I'm nice, really :p

Fly, fly, fly

Do you have flying dreams? If so read here...

Flying dreams FAQ

I can't believe they actually dedicated a whole page to flying dreams!

Had like 2 similar dreams where I dreamt I was gliding across my living room, like a bird. Pretty fun. I think I can even pick people up, lift them up the ground. WooHoo! I hope I don't start trying it in real life, 'cos that dream feels so real, so much so that when I get up, I forget the fact that it's a dream, that I can't fly in real life for at least 5 mins la!

In my dream, do you know what was my logic for picking people up to fly with me? I was like thinking in my dream, "poor lil fellas, all of you can't fly, let me pick you up and you can fly with me! WEEEE!" So I happily picked people up, looking so confused and all and made them fly with me.

Just a few of my favourite answers...

Why would I want to have flying dreams?

Because they're fun! How many enjoyable dreams do you have? *nods in agreement*

Are flying dreams just for loners?

No, people like to talk about their flying dreams. Flying dreamers are more likely than most to call someone on the phone to share their dreams. The majority of mutual dreamers (those who deliberately dream with other people) have the ability to fly in their dreams. (yup, dreams are impt to me, I'm the kind that will reflect on dreams and see what I can do about them.)

Why do I have them? Am I weird to have them? Or not to have them?

Are you especially creative? Do you have an imaginative personality? People with these characteristics (poets, writers, musicians, painters, graphic designers, etc.) are more likely to have flying dreams than the average population. People who do public speaking are prone to have them, too. Not surprisingly, folks who fly planes and hang gliders have flying dreams, although they tend to fly without their vehicles, like Superman.lol quite true. At least I THINK I'm the arts kind of person. Maths and Science never made much sense to me. The irony is that I did science for like 2 years. LMAO how I grad with decent grades is quite a miracle.

An after thought: I realise why I've got repeated flying dreams. According to the FAQ, I need to analyse what is going on in my life that triggers these dreams.

I think my sister and her inability to make a "correct" choice triggers it. Nursing enabled me to "fly." I found myself there, or at least I found a version of myself that I like. Now I'm thinking, poor lil fellas who can't fly, let me help you.

I told you. Dreams enable me to learn more about myself.
